Who We Are

The Kitimat Airshed Group is a local non-profit organization that supports air quality awareness, monitoring, and access to information in the Kitimat-Terrace airshed.

We bring together residents, First Nations, industry, government, and community partners to support open conversations about air quality, community health, and the air we all share.

What We Do

We help people understand local air quality and what it means for everyday life.

Our work includes sharing reliable air quality information, supporting monitoring and reporting, improving access to air quality data, encouraging public awareness, and creating space for collaboration between community members, First Nations, industry, government, and local partners
